Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin is quitting as Alaska's governor today. So, now what? Will she write a book, make a lot of money giving speeches and then run for president in 2012? Will one of the more than a dozen accusations of ethics violations finally do her in? Will she just get out of politics for good? Is there some other option for her future?
Here was her last tweet to followers on Twitter Sunday night:

AKGovSarahPalin Last state twitter. Thank you Alaska! I love you. God bless Alaska. God bless the U.S.A.

I truly feel that it is time for Sarah Palin to fade out of sight now that she is stepping down as governor. I don't understand the attraction or appeal she seems to have to so many people. It seems to me that she really isn't too overly bright, and we don't need someone of that ilk in our Federal Government. She needs to pay off her debts, take care of the ethics violations, and be the Soccer mom and fisherman's wife that she was before she was governor.

Not that I want to see it, but I think she could make a real killing in the adult entertainment industry. Plus it would really endear her to a lot of liberals and show that the conservatives like a good party, also. Either that or get a job at the local Gas n Sip. It's her call.

Sarah Palin is a lightweight and should retire from politics. I also think that this is exactly what she would have done if the McCain/Palin ticket would have won the presidency: A few months into it and, (in a whining voice) "Oh, I guess I just don't want to do this anymore. I'm going to quit."

Dave, the ethics violations are a problem - they are all getting dismissed, they've all been frivolous. The one related to the legal defense fund is nonsense and will also likely get dismissed.

She's not out of politics, but that doesn't mean she'll run for President in 2012 or even 2016. I think liberals wish that she'd go away, but they just helped to unleash her. She may actually be the more effective as a campaigner and fundraiser for conservative candidates in 2010. She wouldn't have been free to do that if she stayed in office.

Anyway, she's not going way. She's already said as much.

Regarding her last "tweet" that was for her state Twitter account. She has already stated earlier that she'll be setting up a personal account.

I BELIEVE IN HER THAN ANY LYING POLITICIAN IN AMERICA, REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT.

THESE POLITICIANS THINK THAT THEIR OFFICE IS A PRECIOUS BADGE. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY USE THEIR BADGE NOT TO SERVE THE PEOPLE BUT TO SERVE THEIR OWN SELF INTEREST.

IT'S A FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN POLITICS IN MANY YEARS TO RESIGN ABRUPTLY, GIVING UP WHAT THE MSM/DEM/ELITE REPS THINK AS A HOLY GRAIL.

GOOD FOR YOU, SARAH PALIN!!!!

LIKE A PHOENIX, YOU WILL RISE UP AGAIN.

ELITIST REPUBLICANS AND DEMS/MSM, BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID!
