Will Iowa Democrats in the house take up the federal deductibility Wednesday? It's been the daily question this week at the Iowa Statehouse. Tuesday, Council Bluffs Rep. Paul Shomshor said his fellow Democrats would pass the bill this week. The tax bill has been on the daily debate calendar several times now, only to see Democrats not take it up.
Ed Failor, Jr., President of Iowans for Tax Relief, said if Democrats really do have the votes, they are breaking what he calls "Legislator 101". He said when a party has the votes to pass a controversial bill, "you run it." So far, no running in the house. An earlier email sent Tuesday morning from house Democrats includes the tax bill on Wednesday's daily debate calendar. But an email sent late Tuesday night entitled "On Tap Tomorrow" does not include anything about the tax bill. Stay tuned...

TO me this indicates demos are not as sure that they have the votes they thought they had.I think they are trying to pull a shady one while everyone is struggling with our supreme court ruling which is very offending.time to start looking at elections next year and weed out the bad.
Its just to bad we can`t get rid of these judges in the same sweep.
