Iowa Republicans Try to Reconnect for a Comeback

This week two Iowa Republican activists launch two separate websites they hope will help grow their party. Former Iowa statehouse/Steve Sukup for Governor/Mitt Romney for President staffer (at different times, of course:) Tim Albrecht launches on Monday following an official "launch party" in downtown Des Moines. Tim tells me he "walked beans" in the fields as a youth and he wanted a catchy name that's easy for people to remember. Former Iowa Republican Party Political Director Craig Robinson launches Wednesday. I figured the reason for the name of his website was self-explanatory. So I didn't ask him.

I chatted with Albrecht about his plans. Here's the full interview:

Thanks for plugging last night.

Just to be clear, served as the Political Director at RPI, not its Executive Director during the caucuses, so you might want to correct that.

Craig Robinson

That's what I get for blogging late at night. It's now corrected. Thanks, Craig.
